New high end Restaurant in central Sandton is looking for a Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete day to day running of the business, and will report directly to the owners. Applicants must be well spoken & fluent in English. Skills required include strong communications skills, time management skills, organizing skills, problem solving skills and multitasking abilities. The business comprises of a full Restaurant with private dining areas and meeting rooms. Duties will include:
• Ordering and procurement
• Daily opening and closing procedures
• Quality and service control
• Food costs and margin control
• Food and beverage stock control and management
• Cashing up and balancing of incomes
• Staff management & training
• Health & Safety
• Financial management
• Customer relations
• Marketing management
Will only consider individuals with a reputable and loyal working history and good references. Must have strong business acumen with a focused hands on management style. Normal Restaurant hours apply and incudes evening work, weekends and public holidays. Of day will be a week day. Must be, energetic, passionate and driven to succeed.
