Established Restaurant in Menlyn has a Sous Chef position available. Looking for individuals with 6+ years sous chef experience in an a la carte Restaurant environment. Applicants must be skilled in following recipes and cooking meals according to set standards and strict guidelines. Experience in an up-market environment preferred. Looking for someone who is skilled in stock management, variances and food cost reporting. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with the ability to work under pressure. Ability to run a pass essential. Will run the kitchen in the absence of the head chef. Salary R 15000 – 20000 K depending on experience.
