World-class 5-star Restaurant on wine farm in Franschhoek is looking for a Senior Restaurant Manager to uphold the Restaurant reputation for excellence, leading the service team to deliver exceptional, seamless, and unforgettable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience Excellence: Deliver refined yet warm service for a world-class dining journey every time.
Leadership & Team Development: Train, mentor, and inspire a high-performance team that anticipates needs and embodies our ethos.
Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring impeccable standards and efficiency.
Beverage & Wine Program Integration: Collaborate with sommeliers and bar teams to curate standout pairings.
Hospitality Innovation: Drive benchmarks aligned with elite global rankings like Eat Out, Michelin, and World’s 50 Best.
Financial & Stock Control: Handle daily cash-ups, staff rosters, wages, stock takes; monitor metrics, optimize efficiency, control costs, and maximize revenue.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience leading Eat Out 3-plate, Michelin-starred, or World’s 50 Best-caliber restaurants.
Natural leadership with passion for service, hospitality, and guest engagement.
Deep knowledge of global fine dining trends, luxury service, and wine pairing.
Exceptional organizational and operational skills.
Lightspeed/Marketman experience (or similar) advantageous.
Ability to thrive under pressure with calm, composed presence.
Strong relationship-building with guests, teams, and industry pros.
International experience a plus.
Salary R 35k gross.
